Alfredo sauce for pasta

* butter (2 sticks)
* Half 'N Half cream (8 oz)
* Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup or more; freshly grated, good quality only)
* Philadelphia cream cheese (1/2 a pack)

* garlic (powder and minced fresh garlic to taste)
* freshly ground white or black pepper to taste.

Preparation:

* In a sauce pan, melt the butter under medium heat; then add cream cheese, stir well, add Half N Half; stir constantly

* add garlic;

* add Parmesan cheese; add pepper powder.

taste; adjust for saltiness.
